Cleaning the house!

I always make the kids help with housework. I think it is important for their character development. The boys clean their room everyday but by the end of the day it is a disaster again. Connor was in charge of cleaning the boys room. He sorted shoes, put away clothes and even made all of the beds.Ryleigh, Cade, and Colby were very excited to have a bucket of soapy water. They washed walls and cabinets. Water was everywhere. By the end Ryleigh was soaked from head to toe.Colby was cleaning the walls and vents and when Ryleigh noticed that I was taking a picture she interjected herself into the shot.

Colby was very thorough in his scrubbing. He wanted to get every nook and cranny. Here he is using a magic eraser that is almost gone. Cade decided to mop with his wash cloth. He is very serious about posing. He loves to help with those kinds of jobs.

Ryleigh again noticed me taking pictures and had to pose.

It was a really fun day. When we were done cleaning we played games and watched TV. We can't wait until next week when the pool is open. We will be going swimming every day!
