One Tuesday

Our day started at the zoo. We had a wonderful time. We looked at all of the animals, and learned about their habitats. We went to the Petting Zoo, the Monkey Village, basically everything. We ended our day with a camel ride. Connor, Colby, Cade and Miracle all got to ride on the camel together.

Ryleigh was very upset that she didn't get to go on the camel, but you have to be 3 years old. This picture is of all of us in front of the giraffes. To bad there are no giraffes in the picture. The Petting Zoo was such a blast. Ryleigh went to every goat she could find. The biggest surprise to me was Connor who was extremely calm and gentle with the goats.
During our lunch break Connor fell down and was bleeding. We went to the Park Ranger station and the Ranger cleaned his cut and put on a bandaid. That was an adventure all in itself.
Here are some more Petting Zoo pictures. Cade and Colby really enjoyed the animals. Here is proof of Connor being calm and gentle. Our next stop was to see Holly and Preston. The children were excited to finally get to hold and touch Preston. The only other time they had seen him was outside and from a distance. They all really loved Preston and were very excited.
Mr. Serious (Colby) loving on Preston.
Cade couldn't wait for his turn to hold Preston, he even cut in front of Colby.
Connor, who has a lot of experience being the oldest cousin and brother, knew exactly what to do and how to hold Preston correctly.
Colby may look serious but he was very happy.
Even Ryleigh was big enough to take a turn. She is just barely younger than Cade was when she was born, and this was definitely a chance for reality to set in for me. I would normally be 6 months pregnant right now. It is kind of hard to get used to life with out pregnancy since we had four children so close together. I am glad that Holly, Robyn, and Hannah took over for me.Even Miracle got a turn to hold Preston. Here's Cade loving on Preston.
Finally it was time for Kennedy's 4th Birthday Party! We all went to a McDonald's by Aunt Olivia's apartment. Grandma Lynn was even able to secure a special area for parties. The kids played, we ate, we had cupcakes, and Kennedy got to open her presents. It was a wonderful time. The birthday girl looked especially beautiful. Here is Kennedy opening presents. She looks so happy.

So that was the end of our very busy day. We made it home at 10:30pm.
