Every summer my parents take the boys to San Diego. This year I was invited. It was the best trip, amazing. We had so much fun. My mom has a routine and we followed it and it was magical. The children were on their best behaviour and it was wonderful. We arrived in San Diego on Monday evening. They always stay in a Travelodge minutes from Imperial Beach. The motel is very familiar with them and always has a wonderful suite waiting.
On Tuesday morning, after a continental breakfast it was off to the beach. The kids did not hesitate to run directly into the water, even though it was early and cold. We stayed for the whole morning, digging in the sand, chasing waves and walking on the dock.
Then it was back to the motel for showers and we headed off to Old Town for lunch and shopping. We ate at a wonderful Mexican Food Restaurant that makes their own tortillas. It was delicious, especially the tortillas.
