Lego Land

Finally Lego Land! This is such a great amusement park if you have small kids. It is only open from 10am to 6pm so the kids don't get over tired. There a million rides that are kid sized, playgrounds, splash pads, mini cities, tons of food, fried apple fries that taste like apple pie, and a water park. It was a wonderful day loaded with adventure. I was the only mom who actually played in the water. There were plenty of dads getting wet, but the moms were just sitting there. After Lego Land we found a Chinese Restaurant to eat dinner. It was funny because we we dirty and tired and the restaurant turned out to be formal and quiet. The kids did great!
Thursday was our last day in San Diego and we made sure to pack it full. We started out with the beach again. This time, besides chasing waves we saw the sea anemones, Colby wasn't afraid to let his finger get sucked in. I climbed on the rocks, the boys held a crab, and we met the lifeguard. It was a full morning.
Then back to the motel to pack up. Then it was lunch time and we went to our favorite Anthony's and sat by the water. After lunch we went to see Up in 3D and then it was back to Las Vegas. The trip was short, but perfect. I can't wait to go again! Maybe Chris will be invited next year.
